The commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel-General Alexander Syrsky, arrived in the area of hostilities in the Kupyansk direction.
He announced this in his telegram channel.
According to him, meetings were held with commanders.
“We are working with commanders in the area of military operations in the Kupyansk direction. Together we make all the necessary operational decisions. The role of commanders in the defense of the state, without exaggeration, is significant. They can make decisions that are fully consistent with the situation on the ground,” Syrsky wrote.

Recall that the Russians are now conducting an active offensive in this direction in order to cut the Ukrainian grouping and reach Kupyansk (as Syrsky himself formulated these goals earlier).
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day, the Russians attacked north of Sinkovka near Kupyansk, as well as northeast of Ivanovka.
